Downtown Geneva is known as a unique shopping destination with over 100 specialty shops. Many of them are set inside charming Victorian-style homes. Founded in 1922 by Mrs. Edmond Raftery, The Little Traveler is the grandmother of them all, under our roof, you’ll find everything from specialty gourmet foods to the latest in apparel and home décor to fair trade goods, bath and body, toys and more. Upon arriving, we will eat lunch in the Atrium Café at the center of the store. Each participant will receive a shopping bag that contains a shopping coupon for $10 from purchases $20 or more (on regular merchandise). Upon registration, please choose one of the lunch options: The Little Traveler Petite Luncheon (mini sandwich plate and a cup of vegetable soup), Spinach Cheddar and Quiche (with seasonal fresh fruit and a freshly baked muffin), Cranberry Chicken Salad, Chicken Salad Croissant (with side of the day). Fee includes lunch and transportation. Depart and return from the Bloomingdale Park District, 172 South Circle Avenue, Bloomingdale. Registration deadline is June 15.
