Grab the little ones and have some fun at the park! Each section features a different activity to explore and experience along with free play at the playground. Light refreshments provided. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Pre-register and receive a one-day complimentary guest pass to the Oasis Water Park. Participants must attend the event to receive passes. This event is free. Weather permitting. Please meet at the playground. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled. Passes will not be distributed if event is cancelled due to weather.

This is a parent/child class.
Enjoy one-on-one time with your child in a setting that includes climbing, crawling, jumping, balls, parachutes and moving to music. Parental interaction helps your child develop both motor and social skills. Please wear comfortable clothes; no snaps, jeans or overalls.

Experience the sport of gymnastics with your tot while also creating lasting memories! Play with your child to help them develop their gross motor and social skills, while also developing their coordination and body awareness. Tots will be introduced to a minimal amount of structured activity with your assistance, but the class will primarily be an open play environment. Class attire: athletic pants, shorts/shirts or leotard/shorts. No jeans, snaps or zippered shirts.

Wiggle, giggle, dance and sway, have some fun the Rock n Kids way! Tot Rock and Kid Rock are movement-based learning and imaginative play classes with music. All class procedures are designed to keep staff and students safe. Activities are age-appropriate by class and include songs and rhymes, rhythm and coordination, fine and gross motor, imagination and sensory, and listening and following directions skills. With a focus on STEAM learning, each session has a new educational theme.

Wiggle and giggle with Baby Rock! A unique combination of sensory experiences with stimulating music and exercises to help strengthen and stretch your baby. Activities will include sing alongs, exposure to simple instruments and sensory props, bean bag massages, motion exercises, bubbles, and more. Please bring a blanket or mat and get ready for a rockin’ good time with your tiniest dancer.

This program is ideal for kids who are ready to embark on the beautiful journey of soccer. These mighty soccer players will start to polish their skills of dribbling, passing, shooting, and goaltending. Our coaches will inculcate participants on good sportsmanship, participation, and teamwork. This is a great class for both girls and boys! This football program includes exclusively designed equipment tailored to enhance the early football experience for each participant. The program challenges children to develop new cognitive, physical, and social skills. In addition, each child will experience social interaction with children and adults in a fun environment. Adult participation is required.

You provide the paint smock and we'll provide the paint, glue, playdough, glitter, shaving cream and other various art substances that allow your child to create an original masterpiece! Dress for mess. This is a parent/tot class. Class is held at the Bloomingdale Park District Museum. Participants should bring their own water; no water fountains will be available.

Kids ages 3-5 (age 4 by 9/1/2025) enjoy a morning full of fun while mom and dad enjoy time to themselves. Activities include arts and crafts, free play, gym time, painting, games and more. This class features many traditional activities including circle time, letter and number recognition, math, science and more. Children should bring a snack and a drink to each class. All children must be potty-trained.

The little ones are too young to be at camp all day – drop off your child to Little Tikes Day Out Camp. Children can spend their mornings with our caring and compassionate early childhood staff who will keep their hands busy playing, their feet busy moving, and their minds busy learning. Children are introduced to the school experience through a variety of activities. Children will play in the classrooms, run around in the gym, and have fun outside at the playground. They will have circle and story time, make art projects, color, and paint, manipulate sensory objects, learn routines, and have opportunities to practice cooperating with others their age to learn about sharing, helping, and caring. All campers should bring a backpack, a nut free snack, and a water bottle every day. Children must be 2 1/2 years old by 9/30/25 and toilet-trained by the first day of camp to participate.

Acquaint yourself with the Spring Valley Nature Center’s resident animals. Meet turtles, both aquatic and terrestrial, as well as an adult bullfrog and tadpoles. This is a parent-child class. Did you know that many birds of prey can be found in our area? See owls, hawks and falcons up close. Learn fascinating facts and explore the various issues these birds of prey face, including predator/prey relationships and the important role they have in our ecosystem. This is a parent-child class. Young children develop motor skills while having fun running and ball handling. Parents and tots work together in this class to learn the basics of basketball. Dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork will be emphasized. A variety of activities will be played each week.

This cooking class is designed for adult and child participation. We will learn to make fun yet very simple recipes. Participants will be able to eat their creations during class. All long hair should be tied back. If you would like, bring a small container for any leftovers. Adult participation is required. Price is per couple. Please be aware that this class may use nuts, eggs, tree nuts and peanut butter.
